H6 in. x W24 in.  A vigorous hybrid with large, clear pink flowers.  Hardy to Zone 4.

The alpine and desert phloxes are semi-evergreen, creeping plants, obscured for weeks in spring beneath a mass of brightly colored blooms. They need somewhat humus-rich, quickly draining soil and full sun, with moderate moisture in summer.
