Wild Buckwheat
|
We're sorry, this plant is currently out of stock.
Detailed Description
H1 in. x W6 in. Possibly the smallest of the genus, with tiny silver-green leaves and white flower heads tinted rose. From high elevations in mountains of southern California. Hardy to Zone 5.
The wild buckwheats are small perennial shrubs from arid mountains and
high deserts of the West. Dazzling in bloom, with umbels of papery
perianths in an array of warm colors from late spring through most of
summer. Foliage tends to be evergreen, often covered with a coat of
downy hairs. All need excellent drainage in a sunny site.
