H6-8 in. x W6 in. A rare endemic from eastern Washington and the Columbia River Gorge with grey-pubescent leaves and umbels of rose-purple flowers in March and April. These division-grown plants need moist, sandy soil that dries a bit in midsummer, when the plants may go dormant. This is a lovely, short-growing species that may also be kept in a trough. Hardy to Zone 4.
