H4-6 ft. x W4 ft. A intermediate-sized conifer, this extremely popular variety forms a dense cone of gently twisting branches, with spirally arranged foliage. Hardy to Zone 6.

Many dwarf and intermediate cultivars have been selected from this enormous tree from Japan and China.  Softly bristled foliage gives a pleasing effect in a moist rockery or shrub border.  Rich, moist soil in partial shade is preferred; full sun is acceptable in mild coastal areas.
