H18 in. x W18 in. Deep green, toothed leaves densely clothe the short, arching branches of this dwarf, evergreen barberry. Coral-red buds burst into bloom in May with clusters of bright orange flowers. Best in full sun or partial shade in rich, well-drained soil. Hardy to Zone 5.
