H18 in. x W24 in. Arching branches to two feet in length have green, angelwing-type leaves and a summer-long display of large, pendant clusters of flowers in shocking orange. Fine in the partially-shaded border; even better in a container. This tuberous species drops its leaves and stems quite suddenly at first frost, and is best overwintered frost-free and dry until growth resumes in mid-spring. Hardy to Zone 8.
