H2 in. x W6 in.  From mountains of Spain, this alpine sandwort has tiny, triangular leaves crowded tightly into a compact bun, with a paucity of white flowers in summer.  This is a fantastic cushion-plant for a trough or sunny rockery that requires protection from excessive moisture in winter.
